Lauren Daigle is giving back to her home state of Louisiana.
The Grammy winner and her foundation The Price Fund announced on Tuesday (Sept. 29) an online streaming concert on Oct. 11 to benefit those affected by Hurricane Laura, which devastated Louisiana in late August and left thousands of families displaced and an estimated $10 billion in damages.
“When I was kid, growing up in Louisiana, we were plagued by hurricanes,” shared Daigle in a press statement. “I know first-hand the devastation they bring. With everything going on in the world right now, I want to invite you to join me in loving on those effected by the hurricanes who have lost their homes and so much more.”
The concert, recorded live at New Orleans’ Orpheum Theater, will feature stripped down renditions of hits including “You Say,” “Rescue” and more.
