Gunna Tops Artist 100 Chart for First Time, Thanks to ‘Wunna’ Debut

He leads the list on the strength of his new sophomore LP Wunna, which opens at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart with 111,000 equivalent album units, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.

The rapper concurrently lands 13 songs on the latest Billboard Hot 100 chart, led by “Dollaz on My Head,” featuring Young Thug, a debut at No. 38, marking his eighth career top 40 hit.

Gunna previously peaked at No. 10 on the Artist 100 in March 2019, when his prior LP Drip or Down 2 launched at No. 3 on the Billboard 200.

The Artist 100, which launched in 2014, measures artist activity across key metrics of music consumption, blending album and track sales, radio airplay, streaming and social media fan interaction to provide a weekly multi-dimensional ranking of artist popularity.
