While different parts of the country start to open up again — including New York City this week — most live events and large gatherings are still on hold. However, that doesn’t stop artists and bands from entertaining fans who continue to shelter in place during the ongoing global coronavirus pandemic.
With venues and bars shut down from coast-to-coast, here’s your guide to the best live-streamed music content right now, for the week of June 8. As additional events are announced for the week, we’ll add them to this list.

June 9: Dierks Bentley is the latest star to host his own Songwriter Session for the Country Music Hall of Fame. The country singer will take over the Hall of Fame’s Instagram Live at 9 p.m. ET/ 6 p.m. PT, sharing stories behind his biggest hits along with an intimate audience Q&A between songs.
The Goo Goo Dolls kick off a new “Live From Home” video series with their song “So Alive.” The six-part series — which will continue through June — was recorded and filmed with the band socially distanced, and will span the band’s catalog. Watch “Life From Home” on the Goo Goo Dolls’ YouTube page.

June 10: Zella is doing a livestream performance as part of MelodyVR’s “Live From L.A.” series. Her set begins at 9 p.m. EST on her YouTube channel.
H.E.R. will give an exclusive and intimate remote performance from her living room, honoring all of the essential workers on the frontlines of the coronavirus pandemic, during the iHeartRadio Living Room Concert Series presented by State Farm at 7:00 p.m. EST here.
June 11: Carly Pearce will give an interview and discuss her collaboration with the makeup app YouCam on the brand’s Instagram page at 4:00 p.m. CST.
June 12: New streaming series Offstage With DWP kicks off at 7 p.m. EST with Metallica’s 2017 headlining set at the MAPRFRE Stadium in Columbus, Ohio. The digital series will also feature exclusive interviews, performances and more from bands such as Foo Fighters, Papa Roach, The Pretty Reckless, Shinedown, Pennywise and more. Bob Marley & The Wailers “Live At The Rainbow” will be live-streamed at 3 p.m. ET/12 p.m. PST on Bob Marley’s YouTube channel here. The concert will be shown in the exact running order officially for the first time since initially performed.
LiveXLive will stream the Prison Music Project Sessions album release for the Long Time Gone collection of songs written by incarcerated poets and songwriters at 9 p.m. ET. The show will feature performances from Ani DiFranco, Zoe Boekbinder, Terence Higgins, Spoon Jackson, Samual Brown, Free Feral and Luna Reed. Tickets ($20-$35) are available here.
The Metal Tour of the Year — with Megadeth, Lamb of God, Trivium, and In Flames — was originally set to kick off the summer leg on this date. Now, the bands are doing the Metal Stream of the Year instead, which will feature Megadeth’s 2016 secret show in NYC, Lamb of God’s February set in Chicago, exclusives interviews and merch, and more. It begins at 5 p.m. ET at metaltouroftheyear.com.
Dirty Heads will perform a live-streamed Home — Phantoms of Summer concert at 8 p.m. ET/ 5 p.m. PT live on Veeps. Following their recent livestream of 2012’s Cabin by the Sea, the band’s follow-up set will include songs from their 2013 third album with a portion of proceeds from each ticket sale going directly to the ACLU to raise money for the Black Lives Matter movement.
Celisse Henderson, Michael Ealy, Ryan Jamaal Swain and more are joining SummerStage Anywhere to inspire people to work toward social justice. It begins at 7:00 p.m. EST on SummerStage’s YouTube channel. The next day, Kany Garcia, Mabiland, and more will perform on LAMC’s Twitch channel at 3:00 p.m. EST.
Past performances by OneRepublic, Neon Trees, and Michael Franti & Spearhead will stream as part of (re)Live BottleRock’s weekly virtual series this week. Proceeds from the livestream will benefit Crew Nation, Napa Valley Food Bank and NAACP Legal Defense Fund. Subscribe to BottleRock’s YouTube channel to view the event, which begins at 8 p.m. EST and will not be available after airing.
Carly Pearce will give a live, acoustic performance on The Tennessean‘s Facebook page at 6:00 p.m. CST.
June 13: The Back to the Basement virtual concert features at-home performances and guest appearances from bands including Nelson, A Flock of Seagulls, Wang Chung and more. The show, which is celebrating first responders in the coronavirus pandemic, will benefit DirectRelief. It premieres at 2 p.m. EST on Facebook, and a second screening begins at 7 p.m. EST. After the screenings, the show will be available on YouTube.
June 14: BTS is set for their much-anticipated Bang Bang Con the Live later this week. The 90-minute online concert will be a pay-per-view experience the ARMY has been waiting for, after the K-pop septet cancelled their planned world tour due to the coronavirus shutdown. For American fans, the show will require some serious, middle-of-the-night dedication: the event begins at 5 a.m. ET/ 2 a.m. PT.
