Marshmello & Demi Lovato’s ‘OK’ Goes to No. 1 on Dance/Electronic Sales Chart

Plus, David Guetta & Sia debut.

Marshmello and Demi Lovato lift 5-1 on Billboard’s Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales chart (dated Sept. 26) with “OK Not to Be OK.” The song sold 12,000 downloads in its first full tracking week (Sept. 11-17), according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.

“OK” marks Marshmello’s sixth No. 1 and Lovato’s first on the chart. Released Sept. 10, the final day of last week’s sales and streaming tracking week, the song launched on the Sept. 19-dated chart after selling 2,000 downloads in its first day.

On the airplay-, sales- and streaming-based Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart, the collab cruises 11-2, marking Marshmello’s 10th top 10 and Lovato’s third. With 8.6 million U.S. streams, “OK” also enters at No. 2 on Dance/Electronic Streaming Songs, where it’s Marshmello’s seventh top 10 and Lovato’s third. It also drew 7.4 million in all-format radio airplay audience through Sept. 20.

On the all-genre the Billboard Hot 100, the twosome’s track enters at No. 36. Marshmello earns his 12th top 40 Hot 100 hit and Lovato lands her 17th. Each act has debuted four songs in the chart’s top 40 in 2020.

Another collab impacting the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs top 10 is David Guetta and Sia’s “Let’s Love,” which debuts at No. 9. The French DJ/producer adds his 14th top 10, the fourth-most dating to the chart’s 2013 launch, after The Chainsmokers (19), Calvin Harris and Kygo (18 each).

“Love” is singer Sia’s fourth top 10, all with Guetta, following “She Wolf (Falling to Pieces)” (No. 8, 2013), “Bang My Head” (also featuring Fetty Wap; No. 5, 2016) and “Flames” (No. 9, 2018). Meanwhile, their “Titanium,” released in 2012, prior to the chart’s inception, logged eight weeks at No. 1 on Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales and hit No. 2 on Dance/Mix Show Airplay and No. 3 on Dance Club Songs.

“Love” concurrently starts at No. 3 on Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales (5,000 sold) and No. 18 on Dance/Electronic Streaming Songs (2.1 million streams).
